Jazz in the Pines

After arriving the small town of Idyllwild to take up my position as the Director of Marketing for the Arts Foundation, my marketing office was asked to take over the local and once thriving annual music festival. Working with local stakeholders and volunteers who had experience from previous years, we rebranded and relaunched the musical gathering into a premier three day jazz festival which began to attract younger audiences from as far away as Los Angeles & San Diego.

In the first year, we increased attendance by 15% and revenue by 20%. Those numbers continued to climb as the festival gathered more fans until the annual event was suspended due to covid.
